Patient involvement

We include the patient voice and experiences in our network in order to provide a rounded experience for patients and staff. The patient perspective is used when we develop any initiative such as the peer review, patient resources and service development.

We use the patient experience to actively participate in the activity of the network. We try and make the most of patient feedback from their experience in an intensive care unit.

If you have been a patient in ITU and would like to share your experience with the Network or if you work in ITU and know any patients who may want to get involved in the Network please let us know. We really value this perspective.

For more information on patient involvement see www.icusteps.org which is a charity that supports intensive care.
